台北消息，台湾总统陈水扁刚刚在台湾竞选活动中，遭到枪击，现在已经紧急送往医院治疗，台湾立委说。

目击者说，陈水扁满身是血，伤口有3公分.

陪同陈水扁竞选的立委王幸男称，今天在台南扫街他的车在陈水扁车后面，在一阵鞭炮声之后，陈水扁的车就急忙驶往医院。

他说，看肯定那是枪伤。

目击者说，吕秀莲也受了伤。

不过，官方内部从医院传出消息说，两人的伤势目前稳定。

法新社说，陈水扁是在胃部受伤。

陈水扁竞选总部说，事件应该是鞭炮所致。不过，他没有排除有人故意将鞭炮抛向陈水扁。

据悉，陈水扁当时穿有防弹衣。

TAIPEI, Taiwan - Taiwanese President Chen Shui-bian and Vice President Annette Lu were shot Friday while campaigning, but both were conscious and in stable condition, officials said.

"He and the vice president were shot," an official with the president's office told The Associated Press, speaking on condition of anonymity.


"Both the president and vice president were injured," said the official, who declined to provide more details.


A senior presidential official later said both politicians were conscious and in stable condition.


CTI cable news had quoted unidentified police officials as saying the president was injured by celebratory fireworks while campaigning in the southern city of Tainan.
